Kindergarten Feast

On Friday, I got to be the fly on the wall and work in the kindergarten classroom and see the Thanksgiving feast. How adorable it was!!! They really got into it and reenacted the Pilgrims and Indians. Just ask her and she will tell you all about Thanksgiving. I really felt dumb because those Kindergartners know more about that day than I remember learning. She is just loving being in Mrs. Hinnenkamps class. And I love being able to participate with her in the classroom.

5 year olds roller skate?

Analise got to go to a birthday party at Roller King and it was so much fun! She really was nervous about it but once she got the hang of "walking" on her roller skates she was hooked. The rest of the day all we heard was "When are we going back, I really want to go there again."

Welcome the new additions to our family!!

No it's not the dime. We named them Spike (the little one) and Pain in My Keister. These are my 2 kidney stones. I had them within months of each other. Cody said they put me in so much pain, just like labor that we have to name them....and not to mention they cost lots of money too. After 6 kidney stones, I welcome labor....but hopefully we won't be seeing anymore of these for awhile.

Better late than never?

October went by way too fast but here is what happened...... a field trip to Bishop's pumpkin farm another trip to Bishop's (can you tell we love it there?) a trunk or treat at Grandma's Oh look another trip to Bishop's (Cody makes a cute cow doesn't he) Trick or treating in downtown Lincoln and last but not least HALLOWEEN!!! With the cutest witch ever and the best pumpkins on the block! Just look at the TWILIGHT pumpkin =) I'm not excited at all about the movie or anything!!!

My Girl!

Is this what girls do? What happened to sugar, spice and everything nice? Maybe it's the spice! She is something else! Everyday she amazes me more! The look on her face says it all. She loves everything even if it's slimy and gross. And it just makes us love her more! Oh by the way this is NOT our new pet just a frog found in the neighbors pond.

Single and loving it?

6 weeks and counting! Cody has been gone working out of town for too long now! And we are all starting to feel it. I felt a little like my arm has been cut off and I'm just trying to get through each day. Cody has mentioned how much he has been missing...1st day of school, back to school night, Blue bear, homework... he hasn't experienced any of it (sometimes I wonder why he wants too?) But we are just a little less of a family without him. Come home daddy, we miss you!

A new adventure

Our preschool started on September 2nd for my sister and I. We have 2 of the cutest little boys, plus my sisters little guy. We hold it every Tuesday and Thursday mornings. I thought I needed a new adventure since Analise was going off to Kindergarten and Mom was stuck at home. I think I picked the greatest adventure! The kids are adorable and we are learning and having so much fun! We are finally licensed and looking for more 3 year olds to add to the adventure. So if you know anyone....

New Do's

Okay so I'm having way too much fun with these new hairdo's. I thought I would share them with you. I found a lot of fun blogs on what to do with your girls hair. I needed something! And now look at her. So much fun! Check out the blogs.

A kindergartner?

Yes, that's exactly what she is! Grown-up over night! It was an exciting day. Waking her up early and sending her off to school. A few tears later (from mom only, of course) and that was it. Oh, what to do with myself!!! No, it will be an adjustment because my little buddy is gone, but I definitely have found things to do. The greatest part of the day was when I waited for her at the gate to pick her up and her face just lit up and she ran to me!!! Oh, I'm so lucky! Then she said, "Mommy, I really, really, really liked it! Can I go everyday?" That's when I knew she was officially a kindergartner!

Finally...

I finally decided to attempt a blog. And after many hours and I'm sure many more to come, I did it! I hope you all benefit and have as much fun as me! Thanks for reading!
